Grad School

Yippy! Tyler and I got into grad school! :). Very exciting. I think this will be good for both of us. Classes start in a week. This first semester is going to be pretty easy. More or less to help get back into the swing of things.

Anywho, there's some stuff that I am very excited about, but I can't talk about yet. It's good I promise. Tyler just needs to get on the ball, then I can tell you.

Work has been killer. I am acting as the Technical Director (Technical Program Manager) right now and I am also in charge of other very important tasks that are usually delegated to someone else. They were delegated to someone until she decided that she, once again, wasn't going to do her job so it means that I have to do her job and my job. For the time being, I have to do my job, the slacker's job, the Technical Director's job, and my manager's job until he gets back from sick leave. I think I deserve everyone's salary for doing all their work! Needless to say, it is keeping me busy and is keeping work interesting.

The slacker is making life very difficult and my management's lack of responsibility to take care of it is really starting to get to me. He should be protecting me from those who don't do their job and make mine more difficult. He shouldn't be protecting the one who is making things more difficult and is not contributing to the team. It is starting to make me think really hard about going elsewhere, even though I really like it here. I don't necessarily like the town, but I really like the people, minus one, and what I do. Anywho, I think it's time to stop complaining and head to bed. It's going to be a long week.
