Here at work, trying to show some dumb SLA student how to use a scanner...I have no clue how she got into college.....the power decides to go out. About 30 seconds later, the generators kick on and we have some lights but nothing else. A few people are stuck in the elevator, people are complaining about not being able to work........ Two hours later, the power turns on..and I am still just sitting here waiting, since I am not allowed to go home no matter what until 11:15 :(. Just after arriving at work, Kari starts to get a serious migraine and it gets worse as the night goes on. She reaches in her bag to grab her "tough" pain killers, but wait, they aren't there. She has to sit all night waiting to get off work to get medicine, as the nausea sets in and she starts to get light and sound sensitive she realizes that she still has three hours to go and has no clue how she is going to make it.......... Not to mention that someone she really cares about might be very sick :( Why won't this week just be over??
