Well, it has been an interesting two+ years since I graduated from Purdue. After two years in Iowa working for Rockwell Collins Missile Defense Division, I have moved to Chicago and am now working for a different Aerospace and Defense company. It's a far cry from being the Deputy Technical Director for a big Missile Defense program, but everyone needs change every once and a while....right?

I still have the most wonderful man in the world, Tyler, but he's a bit more than a boyfriend now. We are getting married in 6 weeks! Ekkk!

I can't believe that I am going to say this, but we have an even better apartment than the one before. It's in the city and right on the lake. Literally, a little less than 2 blocks away and we have a beautiful lake view.

I also have the best pets in the world, Morgan, a Lanigera Hetro Beige Chinchilla (slightly cinnamon colored), and Jack, a Brevicoudata Black Velvet Chinchilla. They are absolutely wonderful and make me laugh everyday. I will post some pictures of them when I get a chance too. If you haven't ever felt a chinchilla they are so incredibly soft it isn't even funny. I now understand why people make things of their fur, but I couldn't imagine being able to do that. We have a new addition to the family, Byron Eugene. He's a beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy.
